Fairbury, Nebraska

Fairbury once was a major junction point for railroads in southern Nebraska. The Rock Island had their Omaha-Denver mainline through the city, and Union Pacific had a branch line from Topeka to Kearney through the city.
Today, the Rock Island west of town is gone, while the rest remains as Union Pacific.
